Every open seat, cooling-off student, and unused credit shows up as real money on your dashboard — not a vague warning to check later.
Why it matters
Most studio reports tell you what you earned last month. None of them tell you what you could have earned. A class with 15 spots and 8 dancers looks fine on a revenue chart, a student who hasn't been back in three weeks still looks active on your roster, and an unused 10-class pack looks like money already banked. Each one is revenue you can still win back, if you know about it in time.
The Lost Revenue Tracker sits at the top of your DanceUp dashboard and refreshes every time you open it, from the same classes, check-ins, and packages you already run through DanceUp. There's nothing extra to set up or track by hand.
The three numbers
Every open spot in this week's classes is a ticket you could have sold. The tracker adds up the capacity of your active weekly classes, subtracts this week's check-ins, and values each open spot at your average class price.
It resets at the start of each week, so you always see the week in front of you, while there's still time to fill it.
How it's calculated
(weekly spots − this week's check-ins) × average class price
What to do about it
Students rarely announce they're leaving. They just stop showing up. The tracker counts dancers who attended in the last 90 days but haven't checked in for the past 14, and estimates what they're worth each month, based on four classes a month at your average price.
Two weeks is early enough to reach out while a dancer still thinks of your studio as theirs. Dancers gone longer than 90 days aren't counted, so the number stays focused on who you can still win back.
How it's calculated
students away 14–90 days × average class price × 4
What to do about it
Credits a student has already paid for but hasn't used are a warning sign. A dancer sitting on a full pack isn't coming to class, and a pack that expires unused rarely gets renewed. The tracker counts every unredeemed credit and values it at your average class price.
Getting those credits used brings the dancer back into the habit, and that's what leads to a renewal.
How it's calculated
unused credits × average class price

Estimate it yourself
Enter rough numbers from a typical week. The estimate uses the same math as the tracker. An example studio is filled in to start.
Potential revenue per month
$5,760
Four weeks of empty spots plus at-risk students. Unused credits are listed separately because that money is already in your account.
An estimate for planning, not a guarantee. Winning back even a quarter of it is $1,440 a month.

Filling a handful of empty spots a month covers the cost of the Studio Owner plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. See current pricing or calculate your total cost.
No. The tracker reads the classes, check-ins, and packages you already manage in DanceUp. Once your schedule is in and students are checking in, the numbers appear on their own.
It's the average price of your active paid classes. Free classes are left out, so they don't drag the value down.
A dancer who checked in at least once in the last 90 days, but not in the past 14. Once they check in again, they drop off the count. Dancers who haven't been in for more than 90 days are left out, so an old roster doesn't inflate the number.
Every check-in counts, wherever it happens: automatic check-in from the dancer app on class day, the front-desk iPad kiosk, staff check-in, or QR scan. The more check-ins DanceUp sees, the more accurate the tracker is.
Only the automations you choose to turn on. Co-Pilot always shows you the draft and the recipient list first, and nothing goes out until you approve it.
They're estimates, built to show you where to look. Real revenue depends on your pricing, packages, and memberships, but the size of each number tells you which gap to work on first.
Start a 14-day free trial, add your schedule, and the Lost Revenue Tracker shows up on your dashboard as soon as check-ins start coming in.
