I'm a software engineer during the day, and most evenings you'll find me teaching Latin dance at my studio. For a while I was sitting on both sides of the same problem: building software professionally, then walking into my studio and watching the front desk juggle a scheduling app, a separate payments tool, a Google Form for waivers, and a group chat to track who was still showing up.

None of those tools talked to each other, and the ones we did pay for were mostly feature-heavy platforms where we used maybe a third of what we were billed for every month. The stuff that actually mattered — who was about to stop coming, which classes were quietly losing money — never showed up anywhere until it was too late to do anything about it.

So I started building DanceUp: one place for classes, payments, attendance, and the students themselves, with the busywork — reminders, re-engagement, reporting — handled automatically instead of manually. It's built by someone who's actually run a front desk, not just studied one.

If you run a studio and something here is still missing, I want to hear about it — that's genuinely most of why this page exists.
